I met someone with whom I really connected.
I live in a smaller town and there are very few opportunities to date LDS women. I knew that if I were going to meet someone special to me with the same beliefs, that I was going to need to try something new. I reluctantly decided to try online dating and selected LDSSingles.com based upon reviews. Being able to read profiles helped to cement in my mind what I was searching for in an eternal companion. I know that I knew this already, but really thinking about it solidified those thoughts. There are a lot of interesting and friendly people on the site and in a very short time I met someone with whom I really connected. We've talked for a little while online (on the site) and then on the phone for about 3 weeks. I live in Texas, she lives in North Carolina. At that time I knew it was time to go there and meet her. We had a great time together and really felt comfortable with each other. I've been there a few times since and she is now coming here this next weekend. But, we are really looking forward to a time when we will be together for good ... forever. Thank you for your site and for bringing us together.

We recently celebrated our first anniversary...
We recently celebrated our first anniversary on October 8, 2009 and we are very grateful to have found each other through the LDS.singles site. It has been great to have a companion and find someone to share things with. We have been able to travel back and forth to get to know our new family together. You never realize how lonely it can be without someone to talk to. It has been much better to have someone special in our lives. We look forward to many more years ahead.
Thanks again for the opportunity to meet a special friend and the ability to add a new chapter to our lives .

It was so natural and almost too easy.
Really, I don't know what to say. I didn't have much faith that I would meet my eternal companion on here. I thought the best that I could hope for was to meet some great people and build a few lasting friendships. I saw Jacob's profile and sent him a "hi" flirt. He wrote me a quick note thanking me for the flirt and how we got from "Hi" to engaged is really a mystery to me. It was so natural and almost too easy. I love him and look forward to merging our two families into one. The best advice I can give those of you still seeking lasting relationships is to have fun and be yourself. Don't hide anything...it will happen when it happens. I love you Jacob. I can't wait to be your wife.

This has been the best experience of my life.
We've gone to the Bishop to discuss the marriage factor! Peter and I met August 18, 2009 thanks to a free week I got here on LDSSingles. He was about to delete his profile when I popped up to chat. Though he dumped me a week later because he was scared to love me, we've returned with a vengeance and we've been inseparable since 2 days after he dumped me. This has been the best experience of my life. Chad and I go together so perfectly and I thank God everyday. He's blessed me with such a loving, caring and righteous man.
