Success Stories: 2010
He requested my compass report, we looked at each others answers and ended up talking for 6 hours that first night on chat. Then we talked on the phone for 5 hours the next..... everything just clicked and 6 weeks later we text all day long, talked on video chat for a couple hours every night and talk on the phone multiple times a day. He is amazing and I am so glad we had this site to bring us together!!!!
I got a flirt from a boy who I didn't think was my type at first, but getting to know him more and more each day I realize that he is a perfect match for me! I am so happy and so in love and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter guy!!
I tried LDSSingles hoping for someone to marry, but not sure it would happen. I met some very nice men, but there was an extra special one. We talked on the phone for weeks then we meet in person at a family gathering. We took our time dating because we had about an hour to travel to see each other. We both felt we needed to be a family. Our hardest trial was that we needed to wait for his temple clearance to come before we could get married in the temple and waiting for that to come was a test of our faith in our heavenly father and in ourselves. However, we did it and could not be happier. I was worried about dating online, but I would say give it a chance and give these men a chance. It worked for us. I couldn't be more in love.
I met my boyfriend on this site. He emailed me, I emailed back a couple days later and things just got better and better from there. We met in person about a month later and fell in love at first sight! we have been together ever since. He moved from california to come live in utah where I live, so we could date. It has been so amazing! Our lives have never been better or happier! Im sure we will be engaged within in the next few months if things keep going the way they are going right now, which I'm sure they will! :) We are both madly in love with each other!
A Movie in the making...
Not believing in the Internet and because of a crazy friend and a pushy sister, I signed up for the site. I did not check it very often since I really thought it was silly and unproductive. Can you really met someone for eternity on-line? I mean really? So because of the language and mission experience, I sent an e-mail message to Ricky. I still did not check it much, I mean what was the point really? So after a week, he sent me a flirt. So I forwarded him the same e-mail message. I thought, "How rude, why did he not write?" He sent me a few more flirts, so I just sent the same message again. Why create new messages and spend my time when he had not even responded to my simple message. Finally he responded with a message. That same night we exchanged phone numbers and began talking. That whole time he was not messaging me because he did not pay for an account. So he paid for an account to contact me. I guess I was a little harsh:) We spoke on the phone for hours and hours, and the time just seemed to dissapear. There was never enough time to talk. We never ran out of things to say or share. After a month of speaking over the phone, he made the trip from Flordia to South Carloina in September. When we first met, it seemed to me that I had already knew him forever. It must have been harder for him since he only had two photos to go on before we met. He said he had a 50/50 chance...One photo was terrible and the other was pretty...We met and good thing he said, "You are beautiful!" It was a great weekend with my kids and everything. It was like an amazing dream or wonderful movie that neither of us wanted to ever end. After that weekend, he went back to Flordia and we bagan planning for marriage. We already felt married as it was...Ricky moved to South Carolina and we were married a few days later on October 2nd. My family had only met him once and we really did not announce it; it was so fast...it was a surprise to everyone, even us...Crazy! Only our Father in Heaven could plan such a happy beginning to such a story...it really is amazing and crazy. After two and a half weeks of being married, I began to feel so weak, exhausted, and dizzy. I thought something was really wrong, so I went to the doctor. He said, "Well, nothing is really wrong with you, you are just going to have a baby." We had our ultrasound and we are due July 11th. So it happened so fast. I tell Ricky, "Everything is so fast with you!" So he became part of an instant familly of 5 in just a few months time. Life seems to happen so fast at times, and yet when you are waiting for that right someone, time seems to go so slow. We feel so extremely blessed to have found each other, and it happened in a way that really would not have happened otherwise. How else would we have really met each other? Trusting in the Lord is the key and being patient with His timetable and will. God really did bless the broken road we both traveled to lead us to each other.

I never thought that I would actually meet someone again, let alone on a dating site!! But I did, and he is amazing!! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him and I'm glad that I took a chance on this website! I certainly didn't meet him right away, as I've been on here for over a year, and I've gone out with a lot of guys who weren't what I was looking for, but I'm glad I kept my eyes open for him to walk into my life!!
Kenny and I found each other on LDSSingles.com on September 15, 2009. We
chatted and explored each other's profiles all night long. When Kenny told
me that he lived in Wyoming, I thought that would be the end of our short
lived relationship. He surprised me, however, by telling me that he would
love to go on a date with me and that he could come the next day if I was
free. I thought he was a little over-zealous, being willing to drive 2.5
hours both ways just to go on a date with me, but I admired his
determination, so I agreed to go out with him.
Kenny would tell you that it was love at first sight for him. But it took me
a little bit longer. Kenny had recently been divorced and was ready to be
married again. I however had just gotten out of a really destructive
relationship and needed more time. Of course, Kenny was cute and charming
and very, very determined. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with
him and I agree to marry him.
Kenny and I were married on November 12th, 2009. It hasn't all been sunshine
and daisies, but we love each other more now than ever and we are expecting
our first daughter on December 16th of this year.
I found my Eternal Mate. We kept coming back to each other on the LDSSO website. One night we started to I/M & it was like magic. We had each other laughing so hard we were crying. By morning we were on our cell phones. Within a week we met, dated, went to the temple together & fell in love & we are still falling. Our matching profiles on compass scored very high, I highly recommend it. We are seriously talking about marriage already. We are not only extremely compatible, but we are already best freinds forever, the Eternal kind. I Love Her!
Our story? Hmmm, Her first words to me were 'Hello good Sir' it made me laugh and think she was talking to some sort of Knight. I still remember that letter most fondly to this day. Granted romance never came quickly between us, in fact most of our conversations for the first six months revolved around the other people we met and were dating, LOL. But there came a moment that we realized there was more than just friendship, and that we could say just 'I love you' freely. I am happy to say I am dating a girl who brings me joy and peace, and I'm glad I took the plunge with online dating even just once. It's a big world and this helped make it more manageable :)
