Manuel just IMed me on day on here. At first I was somewhat interested, he was from my state and not too far away. As we talked online though we didn't always see eye to eye and I was losing interest quickly in him. One night after talking online for a few weeks he asked me on a date. I replied yes, just for the sake of being nice. :P However, on Halloween, the night before our date, the DC Regional YSA committee was having their annual Barn Dance. Well he came to surprise me! At first all was very awkward and I was still not sure. But then he asked me to dance and we both finally relaxed and hit it off! The rest of the dance was spent talking and dancing, and then he brought me home, instead of me going back with my carpool. The hour car ride was filled with even more talking, and although we do have our differences we found we can get past them and are better for it!!!! We know have a wonderful relationship, and we are both hoping for a wedding this summer! :) So, this site really can work, and never doubt someone until you have actually met them in person, things are so much better in person then online!!! :)
