Rob and I met on LDS singles right after I got divorced. I was just looking for someone to be my friend and hang out with. We talked online via chat and then on the phone, we just clicked. Our first date was amazing, we sat and talked and laughed like we had known each other for years. We've dated for nearly 3 months and he is my best friend. We got engaged tonight and are getting married Feb. 28.

Tami and I met online. I found her profile and we started messaging and chatting. Now we date long distance, semi-seriously.

Thank You!

LDS Singles provided the perfect avenue for discovery that enabled us to find each other and explore our future together. It was a true love story right out of the pages of a storybook - complete with a storybook ending abd a temple marriage. Thanks, LDS Singles!

When we started talking we knew that it was right. We had both been through similar experiences in life. The first time we saw each other it was as if we were just greeting each other after a long absence rather than meeting for the first time. I have never been so in love and am so grateful for being able to meet on this website, when we wouldn't have been able to meet otherwise

Manuel just IMed me on day on here. At first I was somewhat interested, he was from my state and not too far away. As we talked online though we didn't always see eye to eye and I was losing interest quickly in him. One night after talking online for a few weeks he asked me on a date. I replied yes, just for the sake of being nice. :P However, on Halloween, the night before our date, the DC Regional YSA committee was having their annual Barn Dance. Well he came to surprise me! At first all was very awkward and I was still not sure. But then he asked me to dance and we both finally relaxed and hit it off! The rest of the dance was spent talking and dancing, and then he brought me home, instead of me going back with my carpool. The hour car ride was filled with even more talking, and although we do have our differences we found we can get past them and are better for it!!!! We know have a wonderful relationship, and we are both hoping for a wedding this summer! :) So, this site really can work, and never doubt someone until you have actually met them in person, things are so much better in person then online!!! :)

After months of suggesting it, my mom finally convinced me to try on-line dating. I got excited the way anyone gets excited about something new, and flirted with a bunch of guys that first night. Two days later I almost passed over this one guy's profile without commenting or flirting because he lived in another state. But I was curious because of the power of the words in his greeting. After a momentary mental debate I wrote a short comment. We started writing back and forth; our letters soon averaging about two pages each. I waited anxiously for each one. He came to meet me and my family. I flew to meet his family. Then I moved to be closer to him. It's working out beautifully.

Le Roy and I had been sharing pleasant communication which lead to phone conversation . To my surprise he was passing on a business trip but I was already commited with obligations . After praying and planning to meet that Sunday at my chapel I invited him to my Saturday outting which was a fall foilage train ride in a quaint town in Pa . I had added an extra sandwich and fruit for our picnic and proceeded to have one of the greatest memories in my life . We knew that Sunday at church we were ment to be together forever and are in the process of melding our families together. We have set a date.

Thank you so much for your site. Without it i never would have met my wife. the matching profile was right on target. Thank you for providing a place where L.D.S. individuals like myself can search for others without having to worrying about coming across inappropriate content.
The story goes like this. I met her on another site actually, but she decided to try and find a site more tailored towards L.D.S. individuals and came across my profile so we started I.M'ing each other, a lot(usually six to seven hours a day). Well we decided to meet the on the Friday after we stared talking. We decided to go for a long drive and just talk about stuff. It was a awesome time, I'm pretty sure she was nervous though because she didn't say much. We talked and decided we would like to see each other on Sunday and hang out again. A little side note: I could tell she was a very special woman the first time we met, absolutely beautiful with a sparkling personality and a very strong spirit about her. Well anyway on Sunday I went up to her apartment and we spent some time together and by the end of the night we decided to make it official that we were a couple, keeping in mind we had only met the Friday before for the first time. It has been an incredible, although quick, journey since then. I gave her her first kiss the next Tuesday and we both knew we loved each other by Thursday. After careful consideration and a lot of fasting and praying I decided that I Wanted to ask for her hand. So I decided to meet with her parents and let them know how I felt about their daughter and asked for their permission and blessing. And I proposed to her three weeks to the day of our first date and both of us have never been happier. We have set the date for Saturday January 24. My words of advice in looking for someone is first of all don't try too hard and don't try to find the right person as much as trying to become the right person, But most importantly listen to the spirit and if it says to do something then do it. Believe me when I say that you will know without a doubt when you find the right person. THANK YOU SO MUCH LDSsingles. Without this site I would probably still be alone and a lot less happier.
