Success Stories: 2005
I had to write and let you know that Armadillo, and I got married on February 19, 2005. I met him on lds singles in September of 2004. The funny thing is I wasn't looking for someone that was 41, and he wasn't looking for someone that had 4 kids. I thought........what the heck I will look at MAX 41 year olds. That is when I saw his picture and had to write.
I have had many bad experiences with internet dating, but.........this time it worked. So for all of you that are frustrated with all the nonsense........RELAX......weed through and you just might find your PRINCE.
Thanks LDS SINGLES!!!!
Only after a short time of using your website, I'm happy to say I don't need it anymore.
As far as advice goes, trust the promptings of the spirit. It's funny because I almost didn't meet my girlfriend because we really bugged the heck out of each other at first. Good thing for devine intervention!
Thank you for quality service.
We just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your wonderful site. We found our Eternal companion and we were married a year ago, and are happier than we could ever have imagined.
The first time we both tried the site we were not successful but the second time we were, sometimes you just have to be patient until the right one comes along.
We wish all who are still searching much success and you are in our prayers, we met some wonderful people on your site.
Thanks again LdsSingles.com we will be forever grateful.
I was on LDS Singles I think just over a month and was meeting a whole bunch of guys claiming to be great LDS people and strong in the church. I went on a date with 2 people who I thought would be a lot of fun to hang out with. One of those two dates I actually faked sick so I could go home.
One night I was very bored and lonely and decided to actually do one of the searches. I was searching in the Salt Lake City area and one Provo profile came through for some unknown reason. It caught my eye and I looked at his profile. His name was Snowrider99. His picture was so adorable and his real name is John. I chatted with him and we ended up talking on the phone for 6 hours. We went on a date and it was amazing. I knew I had finally found my knight in shining armor. He is everything I have always dreamed of and more than any girl deserves! We decided on our first date that we didn't want to date other people. We dated for 3 months and he proposed to me. The proposal included 12 dozen roses and daisies, a campfire, candles, and music! We will be married July 30th in the Timpanogos temple.
Thank you LDS Singles!!!!
I met this great guy in 2003. He was from Canada I was in Utah at the time. We are now engaged to be married on August 13 2005. I couldn?t be happier. There is no way we would have met if not for ldsso. Keep up the great work.
Hi, I just wanted to write you and say that this site has been wonderful for me to meet that special someone. This wonderful guy who I've been friends with, writing and talking on the phone with for a little over five months, finally came to Utah to visit. At first, we didn't know what to think of each other but, as the days went on in his visit, I could feel a strong connection between us. We both were very strong members, and on the final day of his visit we went to do baptisms for the dead, and then since I didn't know I'd see him again, I gave him a hug, and he surprised me with a kiss before he left. From then on, our relationship grew as we continued to correspond and talk on the phone. He came to see me again, and when I went to see him this May, he proposed! We plan to marry this October in the Salt Lake Temple. Thank you LDSSO!
My oldest son met his wife on this website a little over a year ago; they encouraged my youngest returned missionary son to join last Christmas and he has met a very special someone; they prompted me to join and I met the man of my dreams and we were married on April Fools Day 2005! Thank you, LDSSingles.com!
I want to take this time to thank you all so much for your hard work and dedication to make this all work. It was fun to be able to meet new people and make new friends. I met my now fiance over thanksgiving of 2004 online, we officially met in person on Dec. 4th. I am a farm boy from a small town in Idaho, and Celeste is from South Jordan, Utah. Who would have thought that I could find the one I can love forever on a website that I joined just for kicks.
Celeste and I are getting married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 24th, and we couldn't be happier. We fell in love because of the qualities we both found in eachother. I wanted to take this chance to thank everybody for the oppurtunity I was given through your website. I love Celeste with all my heart, and she really is the woman of my dreams. Thanks again,
I joined LdsSingles 4 years ago! I live in the east where the opportunity to date church members didn't come very often. My desire had always been to marry in the temple and if that was going to happen for me, I knew that I needed to take action. I have made so many friends on ldsso. In fact, in the old chat format, many of us girls became friends. We have met, shared dating on line stories, and have been there for eachother on many lonely dateless nights. I also have met and dated many wonderful guys who, even though we didn't make a "love connection", I admire and am better for knowing them. I had been in an on-line dating slump, still signed up on automatic renewal, but not doing much to chat or meet anyone new. I received a flirt from a guy on the other end of the state. No picture, so I wasn't sure I wanted to respond. Call me shallow, but I have had experiences, so I let that one go. On Halloween he sent me one of the nicest letters that I ever received on ldsso, so even though he still had no photo up, I wrote back. We agreed to chat on line, and after a short time of chatting we decided to talk on the phone. We had a really nice conversation, but at this point I still didn't know what this was going to be. He called the next week and asked if he could fly out on HIS birthday to take ME out to dinner. This sounded good to me, so we made plans. I picked him up at the airport and we ate at this wonderful restraurant overlooking the city. The night was magical as was the entire weekend. We knew by our second weekend together that this was meant to be. I am usually very cautious and skeptical, but this time I just knew! He flies in every weekend so we can spend time together and often tells me that I am his priority. I have waited my whole life to find a man like him, and I know that this is more than just a luck thing. We are blessed to have found eachother. We are going to be married in the Washington DC temple on September 16 2005. Thank you LdsSingles for being the tool that brought us together. By the way... how lucky is he? He had joined for the first time the month we met. He jokingly complains that he paid for a whole year and didn't get his monies worth. I say its the best $60 he ever spent!
