Success Stories: 2005
I just wanted to drop you a quick thank you for your services. My husband, Philip Meyer, and I got married on April 1, 2005. We wouldn't have met eachother and had a happily ever after if it weren't for you! Thank you so much! Your website just goes to show that you don't have to attend BYU to get your MRS degree. ;)
I met a great lady on your web site and proposed to her after a couple months. We were sealed in the Manti Temple almost two months ago and life has never been better for us.
I would never have met her if it had not been for this web site; I'm eternally grateful that we both felt inspired to use LDSSingles.com as we both know that we were lead to each other.
To all those still searching, my advice to you is: be faithful, be happy. Serve the Lord with all you have and He will bless you with your rightous desires.
All my best,
I have an interesting story that probably doesn't happen to a lot of people. I've been on this website off and on since about July 2001. I met ellrond on this website almost 3 years ago (I believe it was early 2003). We only went out once and didn't really hit it off. Over the next couple years, we had each other's e-mail addresses on MSN Messenger and said hi every once in a blue moon. Then earlier this year (March or April), we started talking more on Messenger and started going out again on May 4. We've been going out ever since and last Saturday (Dec. 17), he proposed to me with a beautiful ring (that I picked out myself). :-) We're planning a Mar. 4 wedding in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple and he and I are both VERY happy and excited!!
Thanks to you and some friends I found the most wonderful woman on your web site we got married in Salt Lake temple last August.
Will you please be so kind as to remove me from your site and mailing list? I am married now to someone whom I first met almost 20 years ago at a youth conference dance, but she first saw me again in "this" life on LDSSingles.com.
Hey ldsso. I was divorced for ten years and finally met my new husband on your site. We got married last week, Nov. 26, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. (Along with about 50 other couples on the same day. heh.) We dated for almost a year, had a fun courtship, a great engagement and we've had a fantastic first week of marriage. He's become a wonderful father for my daughter and she just loves him. I couldn't have asked for a better man. He's loving, considerate and funny, among many other terrific qualities. Thanks so much for providing the forum for us to meet! We're so unbelievably happy!
Unbelievable, after a year on the site, I was ready to cancel my subscription the beginning of October and while starting to do so, I received a message from a brother living in RI.
I never thought I would be attracted to someone from so far away living in a colder climate until I read his profile on October 4th and learned about his interests and values were very compatable to mine.
Within a few e-mails we communicated by phone and realized the spirit guided us to becoming eternal companions. We were married and sealed together for All time and Eternity in the Boston Massachussetts Temple on October 28, 2005.
He moved to Florida so we could start our wonderful journey towards Eternal life together.
I know that if we have faith in Heavenly Father and pray for His guidance, we will be led to the blessings He has in store for us. I would recommend the LDS single site to others and tell them to pray and have faith to be led to their Eternal companion.
My friends at work put me (wmgarber) on LDSSO so I could find a wife. I didn't think anything would come of it. I did a little searching on the site and found Elisa (nicegirl007) in August. We "flirted" back and forth for a while and then messaged. Eventually we started calling each other and met in person in October. This past Friday (November 18) I asked her mothers permission to marry her and we made it official with a ring. We are planning our wedding for March in the DC Temple. I never thought this would happen, and she didn't either. I have never been so happy in my whole life. So for you nay-sayers out there, if you want it, you can get it. It really does work. It has for me and my bride to be!
I was wondering if you would be able to take my picture of of your site now. i have met Someone off of here and we are getting married May 13th. so i don't have any more use for this site, but thank you for everything
