I am engaged to get married! We met on here in December... and will be
getting married in October. Thanks for creating this avenue!

I would only look at the profiles for entertainment when I was bored. People would send me letters and I wouldn't respond. "Rand" sent me a letter that was different from everyone else's. We continued to write, then talk on the phone, then after 3 months I met him in California. We were married October, 2003 in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. The chances of meeting him were none if it weren't for our contact on LDSSingles. We are glad we found each other!

I would like to thank you guys for this website. I meet and exchange messages with Nihawbohaw on this site since Feb., 2003 and finally we meet on Nov. 11, 2003 when he comes to visit and see me here in the Philippines. He is from Tucson, Arizona. We eventually got married in Manila on Nov. 28, 2003.

Well, he is an answer to my prayers and he said I am an answer to his prayers too. Is'nt it great to find an answer to our prayers in your website. With that I and Bill would like to thank you very much.

And for those who is still looking good luck to all of you! GOD hears and answer prayers.

I met my eternal sweetheart when he first contacted me in May 2001 (likesleepless). We corresponded for a year, exchanging personal e-mails and then phone numbers. We were on the phone daily. The connection grew and we decided to meet in June 2002, and the chemistry was immediate! While a long-distance relationship can be tough ( I loved in Illinois), we visited with each other often, and became engaged in April 2003. We were married in the Nauvoo Temple July 25, 2003, and we have been each other's best friends and companions. We are happily living in Arizona - his home state ( I moved myself, my son and our belongings). I had stumbled onto this website quite by accident, and decided to join on a whim. Boy am I glad I did. Something told me that David was special, and he has turned out to be the answer to the prayers I have submitted to Heavenly Father all these years. Thanks ldsso for being our matchmaker!

Yes, yes. It's true. I have actually remarried. And yes, I met her here on

There really isn't much to tell (typical guy thinking). We, of course, saw each other's profile and tentatively started chatting. That quickly went to "staying up half the night" chatting.

After a couple of weeks later, we decided to go to a Christmas social function together. A couple of more dates, a couple prayers later and here we are.

Thank you for your service. It really helped keep everything "real" for me and I met invaluable friends who helped through the rough times. Please keep up the good work.

Doug and I met via LDS Singles on 3rd September 2000. I lived in Auckland
New Zealand and he in Toronto Canada. That's 14,000 miles and 26 hours
flying time away from each other - a long distance and time in anyone's
book. I'm Maori Polynesian and he's Scot Caucasian. I have a huge extended
family and he has a small very nuclear one. But we had two things in
common - birth dates in 1956 and testimonies of the restored gospel.
Augmented by the miracles of modern technology which allowed us to write and
speak to each other daily for almost two years, we gained testimonies of
each other and came to know we would be married.

Doug arrived in New Zealand in June 2002 and we were married a month later
on July 16th. As I write we have been wed for almost 2 years and every day
I give thanks for our membership in and testimonies of The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints. Without these two critical prerequisites we
could never have met nor have known what all our friends and families now
accept to be amply true - that we were meant to be husband and wife.

Love has many meanings and applications but, if it is a true love, it can
have only one source. Thank you Father.

Much love,

Thank you so very much for this service you provide! I met my sweetie BEVHILLSDREAMER on this website. A bit sceptical of online dating, and trying it a time or two, I have met the man of my dreams. MISSHEARTOFLOVE met this wonderful man Wednesday, May 14th, 2003. After two weeks of spending every night with each other we decided it try exclusive. On Christmas day he asked for my hand in marriage, and we are got married Tuesday, March 2nd, 2004. It is so much fun when people ask - How did you two meet? Oh, on Who would have ever thought??...
We've done some proactive work on combining families, are realistic of what's ahead, and lean heavily on the Lord. Our dating experience was of the abnormal. I changed my career, moved twice, sold and bought a home, remodeled it completely, my father died unexpectedly, he changed careers, and through all that we love each other as best friends forever.

ScubaSteve and ItsAuburnNotRed met in November 2003 on your site and were married on January 2nd, 2004

Thank you!! In November of 2003 I met the man who has all the qualities I was hoping to find in my mate, Thomas, in the chat room on your site. We hit it off right from the word go, and knew almost right away that we would one day get married. Well that dream is now going to come true on August 28th, 2004 in the Washington DC Temple!!!! Thomas and I are anxious to continue our Eternal journey together. Though Thomas and I had crossed paths many times in the past, we never knew it until your site brought us together. Thank you so much for your site, and for providing a way for me to meet Thomas, which I otherwise would not have had. So if you are reading this, don't give up! This is a great place to meet that special someone! it worked for me! :) (and also a few friends of mine who have been married in the Temple because of this site!)
