Success Stories: 2003
Thanks to LDSSO Newsgirl and Knowledge1 will be married for time and eternity in the SLC Temple on October 24, 2003. We met last May on this website and hit it off. He proposed to me in July on my birthday at the LDS Conference Center, where we first met, with a beautiful sunset in the background. Thanks so much LDSSO, without it we would have taken just a bit longer to meet each other.
To all of you who are searching for that person that is just right for you. I have found that great guy in just six months after being on this site. Thanks and wishing you the best of luck to all those who helped me along the way.
I'm now engaged to someone I met on LDSSO -- THANKS!
I am currently engaged to someone I met on your site! Thanks!!
It is amazing how the Lord truly knows what direction to send our paths. Jim and Lynette will be married on Nov. 15, 2003. From the moment we first started talking it was very apparent that we were meant to be together and many times over the spirit confirmed to both of us that our paths had come together for a purpose. We both look forward to sharing our lives together and building an eternal future together. May God Bless all of you!
Eric and I just celebrated our 6-month anniversary. We were married in the
Salt Lake Temple on March 1. We met on www.ldssingles.com last spring
('02). I emailed him first. I have a very helpful mom and 4 curious
sisters who would look through the site, reading profiles and helping
"choose" members to correspond with. Eric was one of them. So I sent a
message to him first. The first time we talked on the phone, he asked me
out. We went on our first date in July of 2002 and were engaged in November
of 2002. He has twin 8-year-old boys and I have a 3-year-old daughter. We
make a cute family! He is the best husband EVER and I am so lucky that I
listened to family members who encouraged me to join www.ldssingles.com. It
was the only way for a divorced, single mother like me to develop a social
life. It was my chance to meet people with similar interests, values and
I emailed a lady who was on LDS Singles Online. We met at a fireside and hit it off immediately. We have been married for 2 years and they have been the happiest 2 years of my life. This marriage will be an eternal one. We are soulmates. I want to encourage you singles to keep trying--there is a companion out there for you. Become the kind of person that you want to meet, serve the Lord and he will help you to find that companion.
I only joined LDSSO for one month because I was very skeptical about doing the online routine. Dave sent me a Wink about 2 weeks ago. I was very surprised. We talked on the phone Saturday evening for the first time and immediately felt something very special. Then we met for the first time yesterday and WOW! It truly was love at first sight. He and I are going to be sooo good for each other. We are going to try and take it slow but...wow we are already talking about him moving here, getting a job and us becoming eternal mates. Please take the chance everyone out there. Just when you think the online system does not work...it DOES!
We just wanted to let you know we have been married for almost a year now. It has been pure bliss. We met on line in June, met in person in August and were married in the Lubbock Temple in Sept. Thanks to LDSSO we now have an eternal family and are blessed beyond measure with the kind of love we have both dreamed of. This is how the Lord intended it to be. Thanks for being the vehicle to our happiness.
