Success Stories: 2000
God moves in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. Six of hers...
three of mine... now they're ours.... won't it be fun to see what we can
do to have some more?!?! Ayla White (aka Virtuous & Virtue) and
Michael Burnett (seekingtruth) were married in the Bountiful Temple on
December 31, 1999 (the last wedding of the millennium in the Bountiful
Temple). We just wanted to thank LDSSO for this great service and tell
all of you out there not to give up hope! There is someone out there
for everyone and this is a great place to find them. To all of you who
we met, thank you for your friendship. It was great to get to know all
of you and we wish for you the best. This will be the last sign-off for
both of us. We hope that each and everyone of you finds the true
happiness that you desire and deserve. Have faith in our Heavenly
Father. Be true to yourself and the principles of the gospel. As Ayla
says, "Be the best person your Heavenly Father desires you to be.
Always teachable, always humble. Do not let fear rule you life". Just
remember that humility, patience, persistence and love do pay off (I
should know!!!) We love you all and we'll see you later.
I just want to thank all of you for making the LDSSO possible. I have found my new eternal companion. We will be getting married April 8, 2000 in the LA temple.
It's amazing and wonderful to see the Lord's hand in our lives. He leads us down paths and puts us through
refiner's fires to prepare us for what he has in store. After our separate journeys through these things, Heavenly
Father has finally led us to each other and we are so happy! After e-mails back and forth and hours spent on the
phone, when we finally met and looked into each others' eyes, we knew at that moment that we would be
spending eternity together. We were married on Christmas Day and we're looking forward to the day we can be
sealed together in the temple. Thank you, LDSSO, for your help in our finding each other. We are truly blessed
and grateful for the joy we now have in our lives. Good luck to everyone out there!
Brandonh and Haley met on here at the end of August and we got engaged New Years Eve. We will be getting
married on April 25, 2000, in the SLC Temple. We are very much in love and
thank the Lord for modern technology. We both are so lucky that we found
each other this way. We will forever be grateful for LDSSO. Please remove
our profiles, we no longer need this service.
We just wanted to let you know about another success story thanks to
your service. "Magnolia" (Calif) and "Bearfan"(Missouri)are getting
married in a couple of months. We are both in our 60's and live in
different states. It just goes to prove that distance and/or age need
not be a factor in finding someone to love. Thanks for your service.
